TERMS and CONDITIONS:
DESTINATION: Mark and Dave’s Place is located 45 minutes outside of Rivas (2.5 to 3 hours from Managua Airport). There are no local grocery stores; access to the local restaurant is approx. 10-15 minute walk
AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION: We provide Airport Transportation in a fully air-conditioned 13 passenger Mercedes Van - Beers, waters, and Pizza provided. (Pizza is provided approx. 1:45 in to the car ride) Our driver will also escort you to the Grocery Store. COST $800 Round trip.
WEEKLY TRANSPORTATION: (includes airport transportation). Transportation in a fully air-conditioned 10 passenger Van. A private driver. You will not be hassled by Policia, he will guide you to several surf spots throughout the area, Trips into San Juan Del Sur, Several Dinner locations. Grocery runs to Rivas when you run out of food and beer (Guests that require more than two food runs will be charged an extra $50 per trip) . We highly recommend this service. All of our returning guests will advise that it has substantial value. COST $200 per person or $1600 for the week. (Renting two "quality" private cars and filling them up with gas will cost more than $1,600) - A gas surcharge of $40 per trip will be charged for excess trips to SJDS and other areas 1 hour + distances. Please be fair with our driver. Groceries: Our driver takes guests directly to the grocery store upon arrival. He will not drop you off at the house prior to shopping. The grocery store is very far from the house, so make sure to pick up food upon arrival. Thanks for understanding

Other transportation costs: Managua runs for other guests, lost boards, bags etc. will be charged $150 paid directly to our driver.
Mark and Dave’s: does not guarantee prompt flight arrival if an act of god occurs (example; weather, flood, earthquake, fires, etc) and will not be responsible for any extra costs that pertain to this matter.
CHECK IN: You will arrive at the Iguana Resort - where you will be greeted by Mark and Dave’s Management- Check in: 2:30pm & Check out 11:00am
HOUSE MANAGER: You will be greeted by GUSTAVO & MARIE. They look after our guests and can help with any questions. He also works as our transportation director. Please contact him if you have any house issues or interest in Surf Boats, Fishing, Zip Line Tours, Etc
GROCERIES: Buying food for a group of 8 people for 7 days can be a challenge. We will provide you with an effective grocery list. This way you won’t run out of food. We also highly recommend weekly transportation - our driver will run into town and pick up groceries while your surfing or drinking beers at the pool. We Highly recomend the All inclusive package which will allow you to relax and enjoy your trip without having to deal with groceries and shopping
PHONE: We have a house phone at Mark and Dave’s - you are more than welcome to pick up a SIM card if you need to make international calls (pre-paid minutes). Please discuss with Marcos ounce you arrive.
INTERNET: Internet access is available at the house for $60 per week —"per computer". We cannot guaranty that the Internet will be functioning at all times -
FLIGHT INFORMATION: Mark and Dave’s Place utilizes TACA Airlines for our guests travel plans. Please note that you will be charged $95 for up to 2 boards each way. Make sure to inform them you are coming to Mark and Dave’s Place - e-mail the girls with the dates and number of people traveling and they will respond within 24 hours.
"DO NOT BRING MORE THAN 2 BOARDS IF FLYING ON TACA" they will not allow more than 2 and will not accept your board bag - they do not make exceptions
PHOTOGRAGHER: We can arrange a photographer for you - You can speak to our team about packages upon arrival.
Please remember that you are traveling to Nicaragua - A 3rd world country. Be patient with the people and service. They are great people and an amazing culture. Basic services can tend to take longer than some are use to. Nicaragua does not have all of the western comforts of America, but this has drawn us to the region. It’s nice to get away and relax without the day-to-day distractions we encounter at home.
